Waterfall

The Waterfall Braid

Today in Syracuse it is what we call a disgusting day. It is rainy and windy and very gloomy.

I love these kind of days because it is the perfect excuse to stay inside and watch your favorite films.

I have listed Five of my favorite films to stay in and watch

1. Breakfast At Tiffanys
(My favorite film of all time)

2. The Devil Wears Prada
(Do I even need to explain why to watch this?)

3. Uncle Buck
(Funny and adorable film)

4. Almost Famous
(Just an AMAZING movie)

5. The Notebook
(Ryan Gosling is just so good to look at)

Peter pan's Pearly Whites

Recently I got a job at BCBGMaxazaria in Lord And Taylor (my favorite department store).
You have to wear all black unless you buy something in color from BCBG.

ANYWAY.....

I am walking through L+T and I stopped in my tracks. The most adorable Eighty Sixty dress was right in front of me! A black A-Line dress with a little key hole in front and the BEST part...a detailed pearl peter pan collar. I died!

OBVIIII I made a purchase and will be wearing it to work!

This fits amazing! I am bigger in the chest and have a skinny waist but I have some hips so the dress falls perfect on me to accentuate the curves and hide the no-no's.

unfortunantly I looked to see if you can purchase this online and you cannot yet. But go to L+T and ask for this dress...it is sooooo worth it.

Blast From The Past

Recently I staffed a convention for USY and I wore this fabulous dress from the 1970's with an unknown designer. This was a gift from the vintage shop I worked at in Brooklyn, Honey Suckle and Hearts. They have AMAZING pieces! You can check out there Etsy site at Honey Suckle and Hearts

Summer Had Me A Blast

As summer is ending I wanted to reflect on my summer adventures. This summer I had the privilege of interning at Jill Stuart and Honey Suckle and Hearts. At both places I learned so much about fashion.

Of course the summer was not just about working...I had my fair share of fun.
